ICSI in Riyadh — Precision Fertilisation at Bnoon
ICSI is a laboratory fertilisation method that may be considered in selected IVF cycles. A Bnoon Riyadh specialist can discuss whether it is appropriate for your circumstances.

ICSI — Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection — is an advanced laboratory technique used alongside IVF. Instead of placing sperm and eggs together in a dish and waiting for fertilisation to happen naturally, one of our embryologists selects a single healthy sperm under high-powered magnification and injects it directly into the egg.
Once fertilised, the resulting embryo is cultured and monitored in the laboratory for several days, then transferred to the uterus in exactly the same way as a standard IVF cycle. The difference is entirely in what happens in the lab — your experience as a patient is essentially the same as IVF.
Not just a male-factor solution.
ICSI is most commonly recommended when there is a concern about sperm quality — low count, reduced motility, or unusual morphology — or when sperm must be surgically retrieved rather than provided naturally. It's also used when previous IVF cycles produced unexpectedly poor fertilisation rates, or when only a small number of eggs are available.
Your Bnoon specialist will assess both partners and discuss ICSI only when the clinical picture indicates that it may be appropriate.
